Sire Sandro Hit is a living legend in international dressage breeding. As a WBFSH foundation sire, he has left an indelible mark on the very highest level of the sport worldwide. He is renowned for passing on his unrivalled elegance, jet-black colour, elasticity and beautiful front. Sandro Hit has produced countless Olympic horses and approved stallions, adding the ultimate refinement to this pedigree.

Dam: Inspection star and sport talent Newmanda van ’t StuDutch

Her dam, the Elite mare Newmanda van ’t StuDutch (by Glock’s Toto Jr.), is a phenomenon in her own right. As a three-year-old, she ranked among the very best mares in the Netherlands, achieving the outstanding scores of 90 points for conformation and 90 points for movement at the KWPN studbook inspection. She became Reserve Champion of North Brabant and finished 5th in the prestigious National Mare Championship (NMK). Now, at seven years of age, she is fulfilling that promise in sport, competing successfully at Z2 level while demonstrating exceptional talent for Grand Prix work. Her sire, Glock’s Toto Jr. N.O.P., contributes the highly sought-after Totilas Grand Prix genetics and outstanding rideability.

Dam line: A legendary succession of Grand Prix mares

What gives Newmanda van ’t StuDutch an almost unique status is the direct line of elite sport mares behind her. She descends directly from the renowned Manda family of Stal Hexagon, where top-level sport is virtually guaranteed through generations. Three consecutive direct dams all competed successfully at the highest international level:

Dam: Newmanda van ’t StuDutch (by Toto Jr.) – An exciting young talent for both breeding and sport.

Granddam: Hexagon’s Roumanda (by Rubiquil) – Successfully competed in the international Grand Prix U25 with Dinja van Liere. Roumanda is the full sister of foundation mare Ushimanda (KWPN Broodmare of the Year).

Great-granddam: Latamanda (by Matador II) – Also competed successfully at international Grand Prix level.

Fourth dam: Indiamanda (by Sultan) – The third consecutive international Grand Prix mare in this breathtaking pedigree.

A dynasty of Grand Prix winners

The direct brothers and sisters from these three generations underline the tremendous breeding power of this family. Granddam Roumanda is the full sister of Ushimanda, the dam of the KWPN-approved stallion Hexagon’s Double Dutch (by Johnson), who has been a consistent performer in the international Grand Prix arena with Thamar Zweistrafor almost a decade. This same direct branch also produced the international Grand Prix horses Hexagon’s Innuendo (by Negro, ridden by Sergio García Bermejo) and Hexagon’s Ego (by Negro), as well as the Small Tour horse Fila Manda(by Westpoint).

Looking one generation further back to Indiamanda, we find that, besides Latamanda, she also produced three more international Grand Prix horses: Mantra (by Matador II), Truemanda (by Rubiquil) and Certainty (by Rubiquil), as well as the spectacular all-rounder Uruguay, successful at Z2 dressage and international 1.50m showjumping.
