REFERENCES MAKE THEIR MARK

We conclude a successful auction year with some remarkable references. Recently, no fewer than three stallions that were sold as foals or embryos via Studutch Auction have been approved or referred for further evaluation.

For example, Prestige di Fer van ’t Studutch, a son of the legendary Chacco-Blue, was sold as a foal. The stallion has now been approved by the Oldenburg Verband. He is a grandson of the world-famous 1.60m mare Seacoast Ferly (by Calato).

Wacko Jacko JW
The Chacco-Blue son Wacko Jacko JW was also sold as a foal via Studutch Auction and was recently referred to the second viewing of the KWPN stallion selection. His dam, Nistria JW (by Diamant de Semilly), is a half-sister of the mare Promesse, the dam of, among others, Untouchable.

Rising Blue
Rising Blue also proved successful this year. This son of Chacco-Blue from the dam line of Explosion W was approved by KWPN this year. His full brother, Reaction W van ’t Studutch, was selected for the KWPN performance test earlier this year. Rising Blue, owned by Stal Brinkman, was sold as an embryo via Studutch Auction.
