Jaguar van de Berghoeve is a son of the elite sire Emerald and traces back through the legendary stallion Nabab de Rêve to the world-famous Fragance de Chalus, dam of Mylord Carthago and Bamako de Muze. As a young horse, Jaguar van de Berghoeve demonstrated unlimited potential and was already competing at five-star Grand Prix level by the age of eight. Under the saddle of Jasmine Chen, he showcased his remarkable rideability and incredible competitive mentality, delivering faultless rounds at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon. Additionally, Jaguar van de Berghoeve achieved consistent success at CSI5* 1.60m level with multiple riders.

The dam of this embryo is none other than Britt van ’t Roosakker, a daughter of Carnute, who competed at 1.40m level and has already produced the 1.55m Berlin daughter Athena. Britt is also a half-sister to the renowned Cella (by Cento), who won team gold and individual silver with Ben Maher at the 2013 European Championships. Britt’s dam, Usha van ’t Roosakker, is legendary not only for her own success in sport at the highest level but also for her unparalleled legacy in breeding. Usha is the dam of three approved stallions and six international showjumpers, including four at 1.60m level. Her daughters have also proven to be exceptional broodmares.
